COMMISSIONING

Commissioning implements a quality oriented process for achieving, verifying, and documenting that the performance of facilities, systems and assemblies meets defined objectives and criteria, often referred to as the owner´s project requirements (OPR) (ASHRAE Handbook, 2015).

Commissioning is a well-planned, documented, and managed engineering approach to the start-up and turnover of facilities, systems, and equipment to the end-user, that results in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations – (ISPE Commissioning and Qualification, volume 5)

SOMAR performs a sound planning work to assure that all projects will be successful. It should be divided into shorter activities, as follows:

2 Preparation of documents
3 Test execution
4 Issuing reports
5 Approval of reports
6 Close-down of all documentation before delivering it to client
